Monsoon flooding in three South Asian states has killed dozens of people and forced more than a million from homes and, in the case of Rohingya refugees, temporary shelters. Authorities also warn of a looming health crisis: water-borne disease. Global climate change causes more extreme weather, and many are concerned about how that is affecting our food systems. This monsoon, and a ruined harvest will be felt well beyond the end of the rainy season.
